The
Sanyo Virus Washer system is effective in removing viruses from
the air via the effect of electrolysed tap water and the
resulting hypochlorous acid which denatures the protein
"spikes" on the viral cell wall, thus rendering the
virus incapable of infection since it cannot attach to its
host's cell receptors.
Virus Washer is also effective against bacteria, molds, organic
dust and odors, all without the use of filter trapping
materials.
The Virus Washer has been
proven to suppress more than 99% of airbourne Avian Influenza
Viruses (Tottori University Faculty of Agriculture- May 2006)
